Founders

Daniel Smith

President

Daniel is a former infantry officer, Army Ranger, and combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is a graduate of Emory University School of Law and is a member of the Tennessee bar. Daniel attended undergraduate school at the University of Tennessee, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

Dean Smith

Principal

As a principal of Fourth Creek Capital, Dean guides company strategy in matters of construction, finance, market selection and asset dispositions. Aside from Fourth Creek Capital, Mr. Smith and his wife, Carolyn, own and manage several other companies that operate within the fields of project management, construction, electrical contracting, field services, manufacturing, and metals fabrication.
Prior to operating his businesses, Dean was a consultant and associate partner at Accenture, where he served several fortune 500 companies. Dean graduated in 1980 from the University of Tennessee College of Engineering where he received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.

Steve Davis

Principal

As a principal of Fourth Creek Capital, Steve guides company strategy in matters of construction, finance, market selection and asset dispositions. In 1986, Steve founded the Will Group, parent to several companies that operate in the construction, manufacturing, and commercial lighting industries, including Electrical Resource Management, TWiG Technologies, Lyons View Manufacturing, Lighting Solutions of Illinois and Industrial Electric Supply. In 2010, The Will Group was named by Black Enterprise Magazine as one of the Top 100 Black businesses in the United States.
